You and Your Johnson [weird ads]

This 1970's TV spot for Johnson motors is blatantly suggestive.

"You, your girl, and your Johnson."

Wate-On Helps You Gain Weight [then & now].

"I Put on 10 pounds, 3 ounces!"

This newspaper advertisement from the 1960's for a weight-gaining product is quite a testament to the ever-changing sociocultural values throughout the decades. In modern times one couldn't dream of seeing a product marketed to help you put on weight; diet cookies, drinks, and fads are the norm now.

Video Games through the Ages.

I really want the Magnavox Odyssey and the Telstar. Like mad.

The Telstar is "the most exciting game you will ever see on your TV ," don't you know?

Also, I would feel it almost blasphemous if I didn't mention the Atari. I had an Atari. I had an Atari because I was bad ass.
